Supply Chain Manager - Contracts & Alliances

The SCM manager Contracts & Alliances is responsible for contracts and Alliances in SCM D&W and ExpRes and have personnel responsibility for the team members. 

This is the role for you if you're eager to take part in shaping the future of supply chain. We are looking for someone that has deep industrial knowledge and can build relationships across the business and with suppliers. In this role, you'll lead our D&W and ExpRes Contracts team to develop a highly productive supply chain to support Aker BP’s D&W’s operations. Your scope of work will cover daily operations, development of new collaboration models and to be a catalyst for change. Your team consists of highly competent personnel with extensive experience in Oil and Gas Supply Chain.
 
Your accountability includes team development, planning and ensuring execution of the team’s scope of work, as well as responsibility for the quality for the frameworks and services provided by this team.


The role will be reporting to SCM Manager for D&W and ExpRes.  

 

Typical work tasks can be: 

  • Lead the Contracts and Alliances team
  • Ensure the team delivers on daily operations, including contract management, VO management, strategy work, and supplier risk management
  • Support and contribute to the development of Alliances alongside the D&W and SCM organizations
  • Support Aker BP’s strategy through close relationships with key partners and suppliers
  • Have personnel responsibility for contract professionals within the team
  • Identify and understand supplier markets to best position Aker BP
  • Motivate and develop team members to achieve shared goals
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain & Logistics Leadership Team
  • Work closely with key Aker BP stakeholders, especially within the D&W organization

 

Skills and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in Technical or Commercial or similar. Relevant experience can compensate for education.  
  • A strong background in contract management and a solid understanding of supplier markets
  • Your ability to foster close relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the industry will be crucial.
  • Require the ability to effectively plan, implement, and manage change within an organization in a way that minimizes resistance, engages employees, and ensures successful implementation of the change initiative.
  • Good Digital understanding and technological awareness.
  • Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
