Graduate 2025 - Subsea Engineer

As a subsea graduate you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team that is responsible that is responsible for safe and efficient operation of subsea oil and gas production equipment. This includes subsea production systems, manifolds, pipelines, umbilical, risers and subsea control systems.

 

We operate the equipment, perform planned maintenance and inspection, and manage any issues that arise. 
We are also developing new digital solutions to transform how we work, principally using state of the art software to link risk, equipment condition and performance management. We are also collaborating with our contractors to utilise live data from our equipment in advanced analytical models.


Typical work task can be:

  • Follow up the integrity and maintenance of subsea equipment.
  • Support fault and failure investigations to understand why things have gone wrong and to identify solutions.
  • Populate digital systems with operational information and test system performance.
  • Work closely with more senior engineers in defining solutions, follow of fabrication, testing and installation of subsea systems, amongst other tasks.
  • Participate in design of digital solutions, dashboards, applications and analytical  models for subsea operations.
  • Collaborate with our contractors to create algorithms and models by use of live data streaming from our subsea equipment in the Cognite Data Platform.


Qualifications: 

  • Enrolled in a master program within relevant engineering discipline, e.g. Mechanical, Marine Technology, Process, Civil, Subsea, Automation, Cybernetics, Data Science, etc.
  • Interested in and knowledge about technology, machinery, processes or information.
  • English or Norwegian language working proficiency.
  • You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience.
