Graduate 2025 Mechanical Engineer

As Mechanical Engineer graduate you will be part of an inclusive and enthusiastic team that is responsible for for mechanical equipment in AkerBP, both static, rotating equipment and cranes & Lifting. We are working in projects and towards Assets. The mechanical department is organized under the Engineering organization in AkerBP. In this role, you will belong to BU (business unit) and support either our projects or one or more Assets. The main purpose of your role is to ensure stable and safe operations at Aker BP's facilities by providing knowledge in mechanical equipment. You will report to one of the Operations Managers for Mechanical, based on which department you belong to.  

 

Typical work tasks can be:  

  • Close cooperation with other disciplines both internally and externally to develop good technically and cost effective solutions 
  • Work with digitalization in mechanical specifications and requirements  
  • Follow up deviations and improvements 
  • Day to day technical support resolving direct and short-term actions 
  • Input and support to modifications and projects when required 

 

Qualifications:   

  • You have recently graduated or will graduate in 2025 with an MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar. 
  • You have maximum two years of relevant professional experience. 
  • You have an interest in digitalization and improvement work, and knowledge of mechanical standards, such as NORSOK.  
  • Knowledge of systems and programs can be positive: Synergy, SAP. 
  • English and/or Norwegian language working proficiency.

Locations: Stavanger. Some travelling to other locations and offshore can be expected.
