Electro, Instruments, Controls and Telecom (EICT) Category Lead

This position is part of the Operations, Logistics & Subsea department in supply chain. We are responsible for all the contracts that are utilized in our offshore operations. We are now looking for someone to manage the EICT portfolio of contracts.
Typical work tasks can be:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for EICT disciplines (Electro, Instruments, Controls and Telecom).
- Lead supplier communication and negotiations to secure optimal agreements with suppliers.
- Keep contract records and all related documents tidy and in order.
- Analyze market trends and supplier landscape to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with internal procedures business management system and external regulations.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with a focus on achieving results.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience and rooted knowledge of the area within EICT.
- The successful applicant will be given the necessary training to succeed.
- Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
