Digital Execution is responsible for being an efficient “execution machine” when it comes to digital initiatives in Aker BP. This means understanding the needs of the other Aker BP business units, as well as providing the digital excellence and the processes required to deliver value. DIGE’s strategic vision is to become the world’s first data-driven E&P company.
The Data Delivery lead is an orchestrator ensuring that data requirements are identified, understood, and executed within the context of a business domain. They maintain an overview of data across its lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional resources and managing dependencies to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
As a Data Delivery Lead, you will serve as the vital connection between IT & Data Excellence and DIGE PRO, facilitating and enabling key organizational capabilities. Operating within a matrix structure, you will be part of DIGE Project’s leadership team and have close collaboration with leaders and functions in IT & Data Excellence, where we are responsible for competency, services, and resources as an excellence function.
Typical work tasks can be:
- Set up a data delivery plan and align with stakeholders
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and deliveries; ensure everyone understands their role and is motivated to contribute to the delivery.
- Identify competence and resource needs for successfully executing data requirements
- Follow established processes to engage capability to delivery.
- Orchestrate the execution of successful data deliveries
- Measure, monitor, and improve performance
- Manage stakeholders and tailor communication
- Embed early change and implementation activities
Skills and qualifications:
- Management experience (Delivery, Team and/or personnel management)
- Knowledge and experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals
- Experience with data in larger enterprises
- Experience with E&P projects and/or projects organizations
- Ability to think strategy and convert it into results
- Ability to secure decisions and anchoring with stakeholders internally and externally
- Tackles demanding goals enthusiastically and proactively act on opportunities
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
- Strong relationship builder and people skills
