Data Analytics is vital to IT & Data Excellence function within the Digital Execution & Technology business unit in Aker BP. We are responsible for competency, services, and resources as an excellence function.

The Data Analytics team strive to make Aker BP a robust organization with effective use of data to inform and increase efficiency and quality of operational decisions. The team is responsible for the Center of Excellence, including establishing best practices, ensuring compliance, driving innovation, optimizing processes, providing expertise, and fostering collaboration across the organization. In addition, we want to help Aker BP become a learning organization where current practices, success factors, and lessons learnt are easily shared among its employees and partners. The overall company goal is to be data-driven.

We are looking for a leader for Data Analytics with a strong commitment to people and leadership. You will become part of the management team in Data & Development Platforms department and have responsibility for resources, deliveries and services.

Typical tasks will include:

• Responsible for building identity, shaping the organisation and developing the people within your team
• Creating a high-performance team
• Planning and prioritizing
• Portfolio management and optimization
• Optimizing work methodology, processes, and frameworks
• Project ownership, budget and cost management

We are looking for a team-oriented person who can work both at a strategic and operational level;

• Management experience (Delivery, Team and/or personnel management)
• Knowledge and experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals
• Experience with data analytics in larger enterprises
• Ability to think strategy and convert it into results
• Ability to secure decisions and anchoring with stakeholders internally and externally
• Tackles demanding goals enthusiastically and proactively act on opportunities
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
• Strong relationship builder and people skills
